The human brain responds to danger by making us do one of the following:
 
 • Freeze
 • Run away
 • Become aggressive
 
 Taijiquan offers an alternative to option 3.
 Instead of becoming aggressive or panicking, we seek to neutralise 
 the threat whilst remaining calm.
